Privacy Policy

Thumper Studio, Inc. is a creative and marketing studio based in Western New York. We build brand campaigns, video, and advertising for our clients — including automotive dealerships. Questions about anything on this page go to mike@thumper.studio.

This policy covers two things: what happens when you visit this website, and how we handle information in the advertising work we run on behalf of clients.

thumper.studio doesn't ask you to create an account, doesn't run advertising trackers, and doesn't sell anything about your visit. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and performance — that's it. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the standard network request any font host does.

When we run ad campaigns for a client, people sometimes submit an inquiry through those ads — for example, a form on Facebook or Instagram asking about a vehicle offer. Those submissions typically include a name, email address, phone number, and the offer or vehicle the person asked about.

We process that information as a service provider for the client the ad belongs to. It is used for exactly one purpose: getting the inquiry to that business so they can respond, and measuring how the campaign performed. We deliver it to the client (and to the client's own systems, like their CRM), and we use trusted infrastructure — email delivery and database services — to move it. We do not sell it, rent it, use it for our own marketing, or share it with anyone other than the client it was submitted to and the services required to deliver it.

Once a lead reaches the client, that business's own privacy policy governs what they do with it. If you submitted an inquiry to a dealership through one of our ads, the dealership is the owner of that relationship.

We operate tools that connect to advertising and social platforms (such as Meta's Facebook and Instagram) on behalf of clients who have given us access to their accounts and pages. Through those connections we access things like ad performance data, page content we publish for the client, and lead submissions as described above. We use platform data only to provide services to the client whose account it belongs to, and we handle it under the platform's terms (including Meta's Platform Terms).

We keep lead and campaign information only as long as it's needed to serve the client and keep honest records of the work, then it's deleted. Access is limited to the people at Thumper who need it to do the job, and credentials for every connected system are stored securely — never in public code or shared documents.

If you want information about you deleted from Thumper's systems — including a lead you submitted through one of our clients' ads — email mike@thumper.studio with the name, email, or phone number you submitted, and we'll delete what we hold and confirm when it's done. To have the business you contacted delete their copy, reach out to them directly as well.

If this policy changes, the new version gets posted here with an updated effective date. Effective date of this version: July 20, 2026.
